From the center of Ramsey, head to the bus stop on Parliament Street. Look for the bus service heading towards Laxey. Take the bus towards Laxey and enjoy the scenic ride. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Laxey Village'. Once you disembark, you will see signs pointing towards the Great Laxey Wheel. Follow the signs for a short 10-minute walk along Mines Road, and you will reach the entrance of the Great Laxey Wheel.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Ramsey at the Market Place. Head south on Market Street, then turn left onto Parliament Street. Continue straight until you reach the coast, then turn right onto the coastal path that leads towards Laxey. Follow the path for about 1.5 miles (approximately a 30-40 minute walk). This route offers beautiful views of the coastline. As you approach Laxey, you will see the Great Laxey Wheel on your left. Follow the signs to the entrance.
