Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start on the A2 road heading north towards Ramsey. Continue on the A2 for approximately 7 miles until you reach the junction with the A14. Turn left onto the A14 towards Maughold. Follow the A14 until you see signs for Maughold Head. The parking area is located near the lighthouse at the end of the peninsula. Please note that parking may be limited, especially during peak tourist season.

Public Transportation
To reach Maughold Head using public transportation, take the bus service from Douglas to Ramsey. The bus number 3 or 3A will take you along the A2 route. Once in Ramsey, transfer to bus number 17 towards Maughold. After about 15 minutes, ask the driver to let you off at the Maughold Head stop. From there, it is a short walk to reach the lighthouse and enjoy the stunning views of the eastern coast of the Isle of Man.
