    From The Sound, head northwest on the A5 road toward Castletown. After approximately 10 miles, continue straight onto the A2 road towards Laxey. Follow the A2 for about 4 miles until you reach the village of Laxey. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to The Great Laxey Wheel. Once in Laxey, turn onto Mines Road, and you will find the entrance to The Great Laxey Wheel on your left. There is parking available near the site, but be aware that there may be a small parking fee.

    From The Sound, you can take the bus service towards Douglas (Bus Number 1 or 2). Get off at the bus station in Douglas, and transfer to the bus number 3 or 3A heading towards Laxey.
