Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Acre, head towards the northern part of the Old City. Exit the Old City and walk north toward the main road (Route 4). Continue straight until you reach the bus station. From there, take a bus heading to Nazareth. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Nazareth, get off at the bus station. From the bus station, walk towards Al-Bishara Street. It is about a 15-minute walk; turn left onto Al-Bishara Street and continue walking until you reach number 55, where Mary’s Well is located.

• Public Transport

  If you prefer public transport, from the Old City of Acre, make your way to the bus station. Look for a bus heading to Nazareth (usually marked as 'Nazareth' on the front). The buses are frequent, so you shouldn’t have to wait long. The journey will take around 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Nazareth, disembark at the main bus station. From the station, you can either walk or take a taxi to Al-Bishara Street. If walking, head south on Al-Bishara Street until you reach number 55. The walk should take about 15 minutes.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Acre to Nazareth. You can find taxis near the Old City or call one through a local service. Inform the driver that you want to go to Al-Bishara Street 55 in Nazareth. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic. This option is more comfortable, especially if you are traveling with luggage.
