Car
To reach הערבה הדרומית | Arava Desert by car, start from your location in Arava. Drive south on Route 90, which is the main highway running through the Arava Valley. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you see signs for Timna Park. Take the exit toward Timna Park, and follow the signs to the park entrance. There is an entrance fee of approximately 50 NIS per person. Once inside, the Arava Desert is accessible via the park's designated roads.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus from Eilat to Timna Park. Buses run several times a day, so check the schedule ahead of time. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Timna Park entrance, you will need to purchase an entrance ticket (approximately 50 NIS per person) to access the Arava Desert area within the park. After entering, you can use the park's shuttle services or walk to explore the desert.
