Day #1 with my private tour with Eli! He met me at my hotel and we began our journey to Bethlehem. Everything was organized and efficient. There is a bit of a procedure because Israelis aren't allowed to enter area A. Seeing the Church of the Nativity was breathtaking. I am so glad I made time to see this. Heading back into Jerusalem, it was my second time through the Quarters and Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Eli was great about checking in with me: did I want to skip this place, am I hungry, do I need water, do I need to use the bathroom, etc. We moved at an accelerated pace because I had seen many of the sites. There were some sites I had not seen before so Eli brought me to them. We made our way to the Mount of Olives and Gethsemane. Each place was full of history and Eli covered it in detail without overwhelming me with facts.

Great tour during tough times

Hired Israel with Fun for a private tour of the Old Jerusalem and was very pleased. Communication while booking was excellent using Whatsapp. Guide met us at our hotel and then we walked the entire route which was perfect. Unfortunately the conflict has affected tourism and it was obvious in sites being randomly unstaffed but we got to see everything we wanted to. It was nice to have some of the usually busy sites to ourselves but we felt for the locals that are struggling to feed their families.

Very professional

Our shore excursion was supposed to take place the day after the Hamas attack, Compass was very professional and handle all our inquiries and refund promptly. Despite the ongoing situation, they still respond to our text/ email promptly, truly wish to be able to do business with them in the future and tour the beautiful country.
