Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the checkpoint at the border between Bethlehem and Jerusalem. Here, you will need to go through security checks. After passing through the checkpoint, follow the signs towards the bus station in Jerusalem. Once you arrive at the bus station, look for signs for buses heading towards the Old City of Jerusalem. Take any bus that goes to the Old City (usually marked as 'City Center'). After a short ride, you will get off at the main entrance to the Old City. From there, walk towards the northwest exit of the Old City towards the New Gate and continue straight until you reach Bethesda, which is located near the Church of St. Anne. The pathway will be well-marked, and you can ask locals for directions if needed.
