Walking
From the center of Bethlehem, head west on Manger Street towards the Church of the Nativity. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Star Street. Turn left onto Star Street. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the main road, Route 60. Cross the road and continue walking straight until you reach the checkpoint. You will need to pass through the checkpoint into Israel. After passing through, you can catch a local bus or continue walking. If you choose to take a bus, look for a bus heading towards the Dead Sea area; inform the driver you're going to Neve Midbar Beach. The beach is located about 30 minutes away by bus from the checkpoint.

Board the bus, and inform the driver that you want to get off at Neve Midbar Beach. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Keep an eye on the stops, and when you see signs for Neve Midbar, be ready to get off. The beach will be a short walk from the bus stop.
