Getting There

Walking
From the center of Bethlehem, start at Manger Square (the main square). Head north on Star Street until you reach the intersection with Nativity Street. Turn left onto Nativity Street and continue walking. You will pass several shops and cafes. After about 1 kilometer, look for signs directing you to the checkpoint at Rachel's Tomb. Cross through the checkpoint to enter the area leading towards Kalya. Once past the checkpoint, continue straight on the road. Qumran National Park is about 3 kilometers from the checkpoint. Follow the signs to the park entrance on your right.

From Manger Square, walk to the nearby bus station located on the main street. Look for bus number 21 or 22, which travels towards the Dead Sea area. Confirm with the driver that they are going to Qumran. The bus will drop you off at the entrance of Qumran National Park after approximately 30 minutes of travel. Make sure to check the bus schedule beforehand as timings may vary.
