Getting There

• Car

There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to pay for parking, which typically costs around 15-20 shekels per hour.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For public transportation, you can take a bus from Central District to Jerusalem. Look for bus lines that head towards Jerusalem, such as Egged line 480 or similar routes. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Jerusalem, you can transfer to the light rail (tram) at the 'Central Bus Station' stop. Take the light rail towards 'Mount Herzl' and disembark at the 'City Hall' stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Tower of David. Follow the signs towards the Old City.

If you choose to walk, head towards the 'Jaffa Gate' which is the closest entrance to the Tower of David.

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi or rideshare service (like Gett or Uber) from your location in Central District to the Tower of David. This option is convenient and will take approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic. The cost will vary, but expect to pay around 150-200 shekels. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
