From the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve entrance, head east along the main road (Route 90) for about 10 minutes until you reach the bus stop near the 'Ein Gedi Junction.' There, catch a bus heading to Jerusalem, which should take about an hour. Once you arrive at Jerusalem's central bus station, exit the bus and head towards the light rail station just outside the bus terminal.

At the central bus station in Jerusalem, look for the light rail station. Take the light rail towards 'Harel' and get off at the 'City Hall' stop.
