Bus
From Hadera city center, walk to the Hadera Central Bus Station. Look for bus number 44 or 45, which travels towards Netanya. You will need to get off at the 'Nahal Alexander' stop. Once you get off, walk towards Derech Nahal Alexander. Hefer Lake is a short walk from the bus stop, following the road until you see the lake.
Bike
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Hadera. Head east towards the main road, and then follow the cycling paths leading to Derech Nahal Alexander. The bike ride should take about 20-30 minutes, and you will enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you reach Derech Nahal Alexander, follow the road until you reach Hefer Lake.
Walking
For those who prefer to walk, start from the center of Hadera and head southeast towards Derech Nahal Alexander. The walk is approximately 4 kilometers and should take about 45-60 minutes. Follow the pedestrian paths and enjoy the local scenery. Upon reaching Derech Nahal Alexander, you will find signs leading you to Hefer Lake.
