Getting There

Walking
Start at the Hod Hasharon train station. Exit the station and head north on HaYarden Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with HaSharon Street. Turn left onto HaSharon Street and walk for about 800 meters. You will pass a few shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the green signs for the Israel Trail (שביל ישראל). After about 10 minutes, you will reach a park on your right, where the trail begins.

Once you are at the entrance of the park, look for the trail markers indicating the Israel Trail (שביל ישראל). Follow the markers, which will guide you through the park, taking you towards the Yarqon River. The path is well-maintained and scenic, with plenty of greenery and trees around. This segment should take approximately 15-20 minutes.

As you continue on the trail, you will eventually reach the edge of the Yarqon River. You will see a small descent leading down to the riverbank, which is marked as 'ירידה לירקון'. This is the point where you will descend to the river. The area is known for its beautiful views and is a great spot for a break or a picnic. Enjoy the scenery!
