From the city center, head east on King George St, then turn left onto Hillel St. Continue until you reach the intersection with Sultan Suleiman St. Turn right on Sultan Suleiman St, and the museum will be on your left. There is limited street parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a parking space in the surrounding area. Note that parking may incur a fee.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach the Rockefeller Archaeological Museum by bus, find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 1, 3, or 21. Get off at the 'Kotel' (Western Wall) stop, which is a short walk from the museum. From the bus stop, head northeast on Sultan Suleiman St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the museum. Bus fares typically cost around 6.80 NIS.
Public Transportation - Light Rail
You can also take the Jerusalem Light Rail. Board the train at any station along the line and ride to the 'City Hall' station. From there, exit the station and walk east along Jaffa St towards King George St. Turn left onto King George St and then right onto Hillel St. Continue until you reach Sultan Suleiman St, then turn left, and the museum will be on your left. A one-way ticket costs approximately 6.00 NIS.
Walking
If you are already in the Old City or nearby, the museum is accessible by foot. From the Jaffa Gate, walk straight along Sultan Suleiman St. The museum is located at number 27, just a short 10-15 minute walk from the gate. This is a pleasant route where you can enjoy the historic surroundings.
