Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start by getting onto Route 1 from the center of Jerusalem. Follow signs for Tel Aviv and continue on Route 1 for about 5 km. Take the exit toward Herzl Boulevard. Continue straight on Herzl Boulevard for about 2 km, and then turn left onto Yad Vashem Street. Yad Vashem will be on your right after about 500 meters. There is ample parking available at the site.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Yad Vashem using public transport, take the Light Rail train to the 'Mount Herzl' stop. From there, you can catch bus number 1 or 99, which will take you directly to Yad Vashem. The bus ride is about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can walk from the Mount Herzl stop, which will take approximately 20 minutes; just follow the signs toward Yad Vashem.
