If you're driving from Jerusalem, take Route 1 towards the Dead Sea. After approximately 30 minutes, merge onto Route 90 heading north. Continue for about 20 kilometers until you see signs for Qumran National Park. Turn left onto the access road that leads directly to the park entrance. There is a parking area available.
Public Transportation

For public transport, take a bus from Jerusalem to Ein Gedi, which is operated by Egged. The bus departs from the central bus station in Jerusalem. Once you arrive at Ein Gedi, you can catch a local taxi or shared taxi (sherut) to Qumran National Park. The taxi ride should take about 15 minutes. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at Qumran.
