Car
If you are driving, start from the city center of Afula. Head southeast on Route 66 and follow the signs for Mount Tabor. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach a roundabout. Take the second exit to continue on Route 66. After another 5 kilometers, you will see signs for Mount Tabor. Turn right onto Mount Tabor Road and follow it for approximately 4 kilometers, ascending the mountain. There are parking areas available at the summit.
Public Transportation
To reach Mount Tabor via public transportation from Afula, take bus number 18 from the Afula Central Bus Station. The bus will take you directly to the foot of Mount Tabor. Once you arrive at the bus stop, you can either walk to the base of the mountain or take a taxi from the bus stop to the parking area at the summit. Ensure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for return trips.
