Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Route 60, which runs through Judea. From Jerusalem, take Route 1 towards Tel Aviv, and then merge onto Route 60 South. Continue on Route 60 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the signs for Deir al Krntl. Follow the signs that direct you towards the monastery. Upon arriving, there is a parking area nearby where you can leave your vehicle.
Public Transportation
To reach Deir al Krntl using public transportation, you can take a bus from Jerusalem. Look for bus number 174, which departs from the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem. This bus will take you towards Hebron, and you should get off at the stop nearest to Deir al Krntl. After disembarking, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to the monastery, following local signs or asking for directions if necessary.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route after reaching a nearby bus station, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are readily available and can take you from your location in Judea directly to Deir al Krntl. The fare may vary, but expect to pay around 50-100 ILS depending on the distance. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before beginning your journey.
