Car
If you are driving, start on Route 1 towards Jerusalem. Follow signs for Jerusalem and merge onto the Ayalon Highway (Route 20). Continue until you reach the exit for Route 1 toward Jerusalem. Once in Jerusalem, follow the signs for the Old City. You can park in one of the designated parking areas near the Old City, like the Mamilla Mall parking. From the parking area, it's a short walk to King David's Tomb. The tomb is located just outside the Old City walls, near the Zion Gate. Follow the signs to the Tomb upon exiting the parking.
Public Transportation
To reach King David's Tomb using public transportation, you can take a bus to Jerusalem from other parts of Judea. Look for buses that head to the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem. Once you arrive at the Central Bus Station, you can take bus number 99 or 5, which heads to the Old City. Get off at the stop near Zion Gate. From there, King David's Tomb is a short walk. Follow the signs towards the Tomb which is located near the entrance to the Old City.
Walking
If you are already in Jerusalem and close to the Old City, you can walk to King David's Tomb. From the Old City, head towards the Zion Gate. After passing through the gate, continue straight until you see the signs for King David's Tomb. The walk from the Old City to the Tomb is approximately 10-15 minutes.
