Walking
From the main entrance of the Masada National Park, head towards the visitor center. After passing the visitor center, follow the marked path leading to the Snake Path or the Cable Car station. If you choose the Snake Path, it will take you about 1-1.5 hours to walk up. The path is well-defined and offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape as you ascend. If you prefer the Cable Car, take the ride up to the top of Masada. Once at the top, follow the signs to the ancient ruins and continue towards the western edge of the plateau where Castle Boukiq is located. The castle is positioned near the edge with a clear view of the Dead Sea.
