Getting There

    From the Masada National Park entrance, head towards the main path leading into the park. As you walk, you will see signs pointing towards the cable car station. Follow these signs for approximately 15 minutes. Once you reach the cable car station, you can take the cable car to the top of Masada. After reaching the top, follow the path to the western side of the fortress where you will find the ruins and spectacular views. From here, you will need to take a bus or a taxi to get to Bethlehem, as it's not within walking distance.

    Take the bus from the Masada National Park entrance to Ein Gedi. The bus stop is located near the entrance. Once you arrive at Ein Gedi, transfer to a bus heading towards Jerusalem. You will need to disembark at the Jerusalem Central Bus Station. From there, take a bus to Bethlehem. The bus to Bethlehem leaves from the bus station near the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, so make sure to find that area. The entire journey will take around 2-3 hours, depending on the connections.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Masada to Bethlehem. Taxis are available near the entrance of the Masada National Park. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride to Bethlehem will take approximately 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
