Walking
If you are starting in central Modi'in, head towards the Modi'in train station (תחנת רכבת מודיעין). From the station, exit onto Ha'Avot Street and walk southwest towards the intersection with Shvil Giv'at ha-Rakafot. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance to שביל הגבעות הדרומיות, which will be on your left. Look for signs indicating the trailhead.
Public Transport
From the center of Modi'in, take bus line 1 from the main bus station (תחנה מרכזית מודיעין). Get off at the Giv'at ha-Rakafot stop. From there, walk north along Shvil Giv'at ha-Rakafot for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance to שביל הגבעות הדרומיות on your right. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the return journey.
Bicycling
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from central Modi'in. Head towards the Modi'in train station, then continue on Ha'Avot Street. Follow the bike lanes towards Shvil Giv'at ha-Rakafot. The trail entrance will be on your left after about 20 minutes of cycling. Be cautious of pedestrians as you approach the trailhead.
