From the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve entrance, walk towards the main road (Route 90). Once you reach Route 90, turn left and walk along the road until you see the bus stop. This may take about 10-15 minutes. Wait for the bus heading towards Jerusalem. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the 'Kiryat Moshe' station. From there, you can take the light rail towards 'Haatzmaut'. After a couple of stops, you will reach the 'Mount Herzl' stop. Walk towards Daniel Yanofsky Street for about 10 minutes to reach Tayelet Haas Promenade.
Bus

Start at the Ein Gedi bus stop and wait for the bus to Jerusalem. You will need to take a bus that goes to the 'Central Bus Station' in Jerusalem. The journey takes about an hour. Once at the bus station, exit and look for the light rail station. Take the light rail towards 'Haatzmaut' and get off at the 'Mount Herzl' stop. From there, walk approximately 10 minutes down Daniel Yanofsky Street to reach Tayelet Haas Promenade.
