Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the town of Katzrin, head east on Route 87 for about 10 kilometers. You'll pass the Golan Heights Winery on your left. Continue straight until you reach the sign for Gamla Nature Reserve, which will be on your right. Turn onto the access road leading to the reserve and follow it to the parking area.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Katzrin to the nearest stop for Gamla Nature Reserve. Look for bus lines heading towards the northern Golan Heights. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you may need to walk for about 2 kilometers towards the entrance of the reserve. Follow the signs that say 'Gamla Nature Reserve' which should guide you along the pathway leading to the entrance.

If you are coming from the southern Golan Heights, take Route 98 north until you reach the junction with Route 87. Turn left onto Route 87 and continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for the entrance to Gamla Nature Reserve on your left. Follow the road to the parking area.

From Majdal Shams, catch a bus that heads towards Katzrin. Once you're in Katzrin, transfer to a bus going towards Gamla Nature Reserve. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited. After getting off at the designated stop, walk approximately 2 kilometers towards the entrance, following the signs.
