Stella Maris Monastery: A Spiritual Haven in Haifa

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Nazareth, head towards the bus station. Once there, take a bus headed to Haifa. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Haifa, disembark at the Haifa Central Bus Station. From the bus station, you can either take a taxi directly to Stella Maris Monastery or walk. If you choose to walk, exit the station and head west on Yefet Street, then turn left onto Hatzionut Street. Continue walking until you reach Stella Maris Rd, then turn right. The monastery will be on your left at Stella Maris Rd 100.

  If you prefer not to take the bus, you can take a taxi directly from Nazareth to Stella Maris Monastery in Haifa. Simply flag down a taxi or request one through a local app. The taxi will take you directly to the address: Stella Maris Rd 100, Haifa. This journey should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  At the Nazareth bus station, find the bus that is traveling to Haifa. Make sure to confirm with the driver that the bus stops at the Haifa Central Bus Station. After arriving at the Haifa Central Bus Station, you can either take a taxi or walk to the monastery. To walk, exit the bus station, head west on Yefet Street, and turn left onto Hatzionut Street. Continue to Stella Maris Rd, turn right, and the monastery will be on your left at Stella Maris Rd 100.
