Getting There

Walking

From the center of Nazareth, head south on the main street, which is called 'Paulus HaShishi' (Paul the Sixth St.). Continue walking until you reach the intersection with 'David Hamelech St.' Turn left onto David Hamelech St. and continue straight. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the bus station. From there, catch a bus heading to Tiberias. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tiberias, get off at the stop closest to the Sea of Galilee. The Church of the Beatitudes is located on a hill overlooking the sea. From the bus stop, walk towards the sea, then follow the signs uphill towards the church, which is about a 20-minute walk.

Start at the Nazareth central bus station located at 'HaNasi St.' Catch a bus heading towards Tiberias. Ensure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Tiberias, disembark at the main bus terminal.
