Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Safed, head north on Ha-Ari Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Jerusalem Street. Turn right onto Jerusalem Street and walk for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the edge of town, keep an eye out for signs directing you toward the Israel-Lebanon border. Once you reach the outskirts of Safed, continue walking until you reach the viewing area that overlooks the border. Please note that access to the border itself is restricted, so enjoy the view from the designated spots.

  • Public Transport

    From the central bus station in Safed, take bus number 5 towards the Kiryat Shmona direction. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to visit the Israel-Lebanon border or ask the driver for the closest stop to the viewing area. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. After disembarking, follow the signs towards the viewing area. Be cautious of the terrain as you approach the border area.
