Walking

If you are starting from the Safed Old City area (such as the Artist Quarter), head northeast on Hameiri St toward Beit Yosef St. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Beit Yosef St. Turn left onto Beit Yosef St, and walk for about 5 minutes. You will see Rabi Joseph Karo's synagogue located at Beit Yosef St 2 on your right.

From the Safed Central Bus Station, exit and turn left onto HaRav Kook St. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Jerusalem St. Turn right onto Jerusalem St and continue until you reach the Old City. Once in the Old City, navigate toward Hameiri St, then follow the guidance described for walking from the Old City.

If you are visiting the Safed Cemetery, exit the cemetery and walk towards the Old City. As you enter the Old City, take a right on Hameiri St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Beit Yosef St. Turn left onto Beit Yosef St, and you will find Rabi Joseph Karo's synagogue at Beit Yosef St 2 after a short walk.
