Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the town of Tiberias. Head north on Route 90 along the western shore of the Sea of Galilee. Continue for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 77. Turn left onto Route 77. After about 10 kilometers, take a right onto Route 90 again heading towards the Jordan Valley. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you reach the sign for Birkat Tzfira, which will be on your left. There is parking available near the site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Birkat Tzfira via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Tiberias to the nearby town of Safed (Zefat). Once in Safed, you can catch bus line 18 towards Kiryat Shmona. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the stop for Birkat Tzfira. The bus journey may take around 1-1.5 hours with a potential cost of around 20-30 shekels, depending on the bus company. Be sure to check the current schedules, as service frequency may vary.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct method, consider taking a taxi from Tiberias. This will be more expensive than public transport, typically costing around 150-200 shekels depending on traffic and the taxi company. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to Birkat Tzfira, which is about a 30-minute ride.
