If you're driving from L'Aquila, head east on the SS17 towards the town of Calascio. After approximately 30 kilometers, follow the signs for Calascio. Once you reach Calascio, continue on the SP32 road, which will lead you directly to the Rocca Calascio parking area. The journey takes around 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

To get to Rocca Calascio by public transport from L'Aquila, take a bus from the L'Aquila bus station to Calascio. The trip usually takes about an hour. Once you arrive in Calascio, you can either walk to Rocca Calascio, which takes about 30 minutes uphill, or take a taxi from the bus stop directly to the Rocca Calascio entrance.

If you are coming from Sulmona, take the A25 motorway towards Pescara. Exit at Cocullo and follow the signs for the SS17 towards L'Aquila. After about 20 kilometers, turn onto the SP32 towards Calascio. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the Rocca Calascio parking area. This route will take approximately 45 minutes.
