Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Corvara in Badia. Head east on Strada Col Alt toward Strada Paracia. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the fork. Take the left fork onto Via Col Alt and follow the signs toward Colfosco. After another 2 km, you will see signs for Mittagstal. Turn right onto the dirt road leading to Mittagstal. Parking is available near the entrance, but please note that there may be a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, take the bus from Corvara in Badia toward Colfosco. Buses run frequently, typically every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the Colfosco stop. From there, you can walk to Mittagstal, which is approximately a 30-minute hike up a well-marked trail. Ensure you wear appropriate footwear and check the weather conditions before heading out.
Hiking
If you're already in the vicinity of Mittagstal and prefer to hike, you can start your journey from nearby trails. Follow the signs from Colfosco towards Mittagstal, which will guide you through the beautiful mountain scenery. The hike is moderately challenging and takes about 1 hour. Carry sufficient water and snacks as there are no facilities along the way.
