Getting there

Car

If you're driving, take the A22 motorway towards Bolzano and exit at 'Bressanone/Val Pusteria'. Follow the signs for SS49, which leads you towards Val Pusteria. Continue on SS49 until you reach the junction for Prags (Braies). Turn onto SP40, which will take you directly to Plätzwiese. The drive should take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

Public Transportation

To reach Plätzwiese by public transport, take a train to 'Bruneck' (Brunico) station from your starting point in the region. From Bruneck, take bus number 442 towards 'Prags (Braies)'. The bus will take you to the stop 'Prags - Plätzwiese'. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary throughout the week. The total travel time will be around 2 to 3 hours.

Taxi or Shuttle Service

If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi or using a shuttle service from Bruneck (Brunico) to Plätzwiese.
