Car
If you are driving, head towards Prags (Braies) in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano. From the A22 Autostrada, take the exit for Bressanone and follow the signs for Val Pusteria (Puster Valley). Once you reach Prags, look for the signs directing you towards Malga Rossalm. The address is Frazione Braies di Fuori, 44, 39030 Braies BZ. There is parking available near Malga Rossalm, but be aware that it can fill up quickly during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to Dobbiaco (Toblach) station, which is well connected to major cities in the region. From Dobbiaco, you can catch a regional bus (line 442) that goes directly to Prags. Once you arrive in Prags, you will need to walk approximately 2 km to reach Malga Rossalm. Follow the signs along the road towards Frazione Braies di Fuori. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited.
Hiking
If you are already on Alta Via 1 and prefer to hike to Malga Rossalm, there are established trails that lead to the cabin. Ensure you have a good map or GPS as the trails can be somewhat rugged.
