Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Bolzano. Drive towards Via della Stazione and then take the SS12 towards Via Monte Tondo. Follow SS12 for approximately 3 km. Upon reaching Via Monte Tondo, turn left and continue for about 500 meters. Castel Hörtenberg will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared to pay for parking in the city.

To reach Castel Hörtenberg using public transportation, take a bus from the Bolzano central station (Stazione di Bolzano). Look for bus line 10 or 12 that heads towards the Renon area. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Via Monte Tondo' stop. From there, it is a short walk (around 500 meters) to Castel Hörtenberg, which will be on your right.
