Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Bolzano, head northeast on the A22 highway towards Brennero. Take the exit for Bressanone/Bruneck and continue on the SS49. Follow the signs to Bruneck (Brunico). Once in Bruneck, follow the signs towards Valle di Tures (Tauren Valley) which is located just a short drive from the town center. This route should take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Parking may be available in designated areas.

Public Transportation

To reach Valle di Tures by public transportation, take a train from Bolzano to Bruneck. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arriving in Bruneck, transfer to a local bus heading towards Valle di Tures. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time as services may vary. Tickets can be purchased at the train station or via mobile apps, costing around €10 for the train and about €3 for the bus.

Bike

For the more adventurous, you can rent a bike in Bruneck and cycle to Valle di Tures. The route is approximately 15 km and is mostly flat, making it accessible for most cyclists. Follow the signs from Bruneck towards the valley, enjoying the scenic views along the way. This option will take about 1 hour to 1.5 hours depending on your cycling speed.
