Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards the town of Amalfi. From Amalfi, take the SS163 coastal road in the direction of Positano. After approximately 5 km, look for a sign for Via Belvedere, where the Amalfi Coast Viewpoint is located. The viewpoint is accessible via a small road that branches off from the main road. There is limited parking available, so be prepared to find a nearby spot if the designated area is full. Ensure your vehicle is parked safely and legally before proceeding to the viewpoint.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  To reach the Amalfi Coast Viewpoint using public transport, take a SITA bus from Amalfi to Pianillo. Buses run regularly, and the journey takes about 15-20 minutes. Ensure you purchase your ticket from a tabacchi (tobacco shop) or the bus station beforehand; a one-way ticket typically costs around €2. Once you arrive in Pianillo, you will need to walk approximately 10-15 minutes uphill to the viewpoint, following signs for 'Via Belvedere.' The path is well-marked, but be prepared for some steep sections.

• Walking

  If you are in the nearby towns of Ravello or Minori, you can also walk to the Amalfi Coast Viewpoint. From Ravello, follow the signs leading downhill towards Amalfi, and then continue on the SS163 until you reach the turnoff for Via Belvedere. The hike takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on your pace and fitness level. From Minori, the walk involves a bit more elevation gain, so ensure you are prepared for a more strenuous hike.
