Getting There

Walking
Start your journey from the center of Positano. Head towards the main road (SS163) and walk downhill. Look for signs directing you to the Positano ferry terminal. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you reach the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Sorrento.

Board the ferry from Positano to Sorrento. The ferry ride typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the stunning views of the coastline and the cliffs as you travel. Once you arrive at the Sorrento ferry terminal, disembark and follow the signs to the main square (Piazza Tasso).

From Piazza Tasso, head towards the bus station located nearby (around 5 minutes walk). Look for the Sita bus line that services the route to Amalfi. You’ll need to take the bus to a stop called 'Bomerano'.

Board the Sita bus towards Amalfi and inform the driver that you would like to get off at Bomerano. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to keep an eye on the landscape as you drive through the hills.

Once you arrive at Bomerano, look for signs that lead to the Path of the Gods (Sentiero degli Dei). The trailhead is well-marked and easily accessible. The hike will take approximately 2-3 hours, depending on your pace, and will lead you to Nocelle, a small village above Positano.

After completing the Path of the Gods hike, you can either descend to Positano via a steep path or take a bus from Nocelle back to Positano. If you choose to walk down, follow the signs leading you to Positano, which will take around 30-40 minutes.
