If you are driving, start your journey from Amalfi. Head towards the SS163 road and follow it in the direction of Salerno. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, merge onto the A3 motorway at the exit for Salerno. Continue on the A3 for about 20 kilometers until you reach the exit for Ercolano. Once off the motorway, follow the signs to Ercolano. The House of the Deer is located at Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi, 80056 Ercolano. Use a GPS for precise navigation. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared for potential parking fees.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
For those using public transportation, take the Sita bus from Amalfi to Salerno. This journey takes about 1 hour and costs approximately €2.50. Once in Salerno, head to the Salerno train station and take a train towards Napoli Centrale. Alight at Ercolano Scavi station, which is about a 20-minute journey. From the station, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local bus to get to Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi. The walk involves heading east on Via Pugliano, then turning left onto Via dei Papiri Ercolanesi.
