Walking
From the central area of Herculaneum, head southeast on Corso Resina. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Pugliano. Turn left onto Via Pugliano and walk for approximately 300 meters. You will see the entrance to Ercolano Scavi on your right, just a short walk from the main road.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take a bus, locate the nearest bus stop on Corso Resina. Board the EAV bus heading towards 'Ercolano Scavi'. The bus ride will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Ercolano Scavi', which is conveniently located right next to the entrance of the archaeological site.
Public Transport (Train)
For those near the Herculaneum train station, take the Circumvesuviana train towards Sorrento. Alight at the 'Ercolano Scavi' station. From the train station, the entrance to the archaeological site is just a 5-minute walk. Exit the station and head towards the main road, then turn right on Corso Resina. The entrance to Ercolano Scavi will be on your left after a short walk.
