    From the Amalfi Cathedral (Duomo di Amalfi), head east on Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi towards Via dei Mercanti. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via delle Cartiere. Turn left onto Via delle Cartiere and follow it. This road will lead you to the Amalfi bus station. Take the SITA bus towards Naples. After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, you will arrive at the Naples bus terminal. From there, you can either walk or take public transport to reach Castel Sant'Elmo.

    Once you arrive at Naples, exit the bus terminal and head towards the nearest metro station, Garibaldi. Take Line 1 towards Piscinola and get off at the Toledo station. From Toledo, follow the signs to the Funicular Centrale di Napoli. Take the funicular up to the top station, then walk up Via Tito Angelini until you reach Castel Sant'Elmo.
