Getting There

Walking
From Amalfi's main square, Piazza Flavio Gioia, head towards the beach and follow the road that runs along the coast. Walk in the direction of the Amalfi Coast road (SS163). Continue walking for about 30 minutes, enjoying the scenic views. You will pass through the charming village of Atrani. After Atrani, keep walking on the coastal road until you reach the Sorrento train station. The Cathedral of Saints Philip and James is located at Via Santa Maria della Pietà, 44, just a short walk from the station.

Bus
From Amalfi's main bus station, take the SITA bus towards Sorrento. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Sorrento bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main square, Piazza Tasso. From there, head to Via Santa Maria della Pietà, which is about a 10-minute walk up the street from the square. The Cathedral of Saints Philip and James will be located on your left.

Ferry
Take a ferry from Amalfi to Sorrento. The ferry terminal is located near the main square. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at the Sorrento port, walk towards the town center and head to Via Santa Maria della Pietà, which is approximately a 15-minute walk uphill from the port. The Cathedral of Saints Philip and James will be on your left.
