Ferry
From Amalfi, head to the Amalfi Ferry Terminal located near the main piazza. You will see signs for 'Ferries to Capri.' Purchase your ticket at the ticket booth. Once you have your ticket, board the ferry to Capri. The ferry ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the stunning views of the coastline as you travel.
Walking
Once you arrive at the Capri Ferry Terminal, exit the terminal and follow the signs to 'Funicolare' (the cable car) which will take you up to the main town of Capri. After exiting the Funicolare, you will be in the Piazza Umberto I. From there, take Via Tiberio directly towards the Grotta Rossa. It’s a scenic walk, and the distance is about 2.5 km, so allow about 30-40 minutes to reach the cave.
Bus
After arriving at the Capri Ferry Terminal, take the 'Bus' heading towards Anacapri. Get off at the stop marked 'Via Tiberio.' From the bus stop, it is a short walk to the Grotta Rossa. Follow the signs, and you should arrive in about 10-15 minutes.
