Ferry
From Amalfi, head to the main harbor located at the end of Via Marina. You will find the ticket office for ferries to Capri. Purchase a ticket for a ferry bound for Marina Grande, Capri. Ferries run frequently, so check the schedule at the ticket office. Once you have your ticket, board the ferry and enjoy the scenic ride across the water. The journey typically takes about 30 to 40 minutes.
Bus
If you prefer to travel via bus, take the SITA bus from Amalfi to the nearby town of Positano. From Positano, you can catch a ferry directly to Capri. The SITA bus stop is located near the main square in Amalfi. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest departure times. Once in Positano, follow the signs to the ferry terminal and catch the next ferry to Marina Grande.
Walking to the Ferry Terminal
If you're already in the town center of Amalfi, simply walk down to the harbor by following Via Marina. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront. Look for the signs indicating the ferry terminal. It is a short and pleasant walk, taking around 10 to 15 minutes.
