From Amalfi, head to the Amalfi bus station located near the main square (Piazza Flavio Gioia). Look for the SITA bus line heading to Paestum. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to ensure you catch the right one. Once you arrive at the Paestum bus stop, you will see signs directing you to the archaeological site.
Ferry and Bus
Take a ferry from Amalfi to Salerno. The ferry terminal is located at the harbor. Check the ferry schedule as it varies by season. Once in Salerno, head to the Salerno bus station, which is a short walk from the ferry terminal. Catch the SITA bus from Salerno to Paestum. The total travel time (ferry plus bus) is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
