Walking

From the main beach area (Spiaggia Grande) in Positano, walk up the steps towards Via Cristoforo Colombo. Continue straight until you reach the main road, then turn left onto the bus stop area. Look for the SITA bus stop that has routes to Salerno and Paestum. Purchase your ticket from the kiosk nearby or on the bus. Board the bus towards Salerno and enjoy the scenic ride along the Amalfi Coast. Get off at the Capaccio Paestum stop, which is approximately 1 hour away. From the bus stop, follow the signs to the archaeological site of Paestum, which is about a 15-minute walk.
Ferry

Start at the main beach (Spiaggia Grande) and locate the ferry terminal. Purchase a ticket for a ferry to Salerno. Once you arrive in Salerno, make your way to the SITA bus terminal, which is a short walk from the ferry terminal. Look for the bus that goes to Capaccio Paestum. After about 30 minutes on the bus, get off at the Capaccio Paestum stop. Follow the signs to the archaeological site, which is a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Guided Tour
