Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central Piazza dei Mulini in Amalfi, head towards the coast and go down Via Lorenzo d'Amalfi. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the main road, SS163. Turn right onto SS163 and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through the picturesque towns of Atrani and Minori along the way. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will reach the town of Maiori. From there, take the local bus towards Sorrento, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to Via S. Cesareo in Sorrento. The Sorrento Historical Center is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

    From Amalfi's main bus stop, which is located near the beach, take the SITA bus towards Sorrento. The buses run frequently, especially during the tourist season. The journey to Sorrento takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Sorrento bus station, exit and head to Via S. Cesareo.
