Car
If you are traveling by car from Aosta, take the A5 motorway towards Pont-Saint-Martin. After about 30 minutes, take exit 2 for Verrès. Follow the signs for Verrès and continue on Strada Statale 26. After approximately 5 minutes, you will see the stunning Verrès Castle to your left. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
To reach Verrès Castle using public transportation, start at the Aosta train station. Board a regional train heading to Ivrea and get off at the Verrès station, which takes about 30 minutes. From the train station, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local bus (Bus Line 2) to the castle. The bus will take you directly to the castle area, and the ride lasts about 5 minutes. Please check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary.
Walking
If you are already in the town of Verrès, the castle is easily accessible by foot. From the town center, follow the signs to 'Château' which will lead you to Località Château. The walk is approximately 20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area as you approach the castle.
