If you are starting from the Arezzo train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Viale Giovanni Amendola. Turn left and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Roma. Turn right onto Via Roma and walk until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From there, proceed straight to Corso Italia, a main shopping street. Continue along Corso Italia until you reach Piazza San Francesco, where the Basilica di San Francesco is located. The basilica is at the end of the square, easily recognizable by its distinctive architecture.

If you are near Piazza Grande, head down Via di San Francesco towards Piazza San Francesco. The walk is approximately 10 minutes. As you reach the end of Via di San Francesco, you will arrive at Piazza San Francesco, where you will find the Basilica di San Francesco on your left.

From the Basilica di San Domenico, walk towards Via Roma, then turn right. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From there, follow Corso Italia which will lead you straight to the Basilica di San Francesco. You can spot the basilica at the end of Piazza San Francesco.
