Walking
If you are starting from the Arezzo train station, exit the station and head southeast toward Viale Vittorio Veneto. After approximately 200 meters, turn left onto Viale Giuseppe Mazzini. Walk straight for about 700 meters until you reach Piazza Grande. From Piazza Grande, continue straight onto Via Roma, then take a right onto Via della Libertà. After about 1 kilometer, you will reach a fork; keep to the left to stay on Via della Libertà. Continue walking for another 2 kilometers. You will eventually see signs for Montecchio Vesponi. Follow these signs, and you will arrive at Castello di Montecchio Vesponi, which is about 3 kilometers from the center of Arezzo.
Public Transport
From the Arezzo train station, take the bus route 'Arezzo - Montecchio'. The bus stop is located right outside the station. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as it may vary. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Montecchio Vesponi' stop. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Castello di Montecchio Vesponi. Head southeast on Via della Libertà, then turn left to stay on Via della Libertà until you reach the castle.
