Bus
Start at Arezzo's central bus station, which is located near Piazza della Libertà. Look for the bus line that heads to San Quirico d'Orcia. You will need to take the bus that departs from Arezzo and goes directly to San Quirico d'Orcia, which is approximately a 45-minute ride. Once you arrive at the San Quirico d'Orcia bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the town center. From the town center, follow the signs directing you to Chapel Vitaleta. It is about a 30-minute walk from the center of town to the chapel, with beautiful scenic views along the way.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Arezzo. Start your ride from Piazza Grande, heading west on Via Cavour. Continue straight until you reach the SP14 road. Follow SP14 to San Quirico d'Orcia. The ride is approximately 25 kilometers and may take around 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on your pace. Upon reaching San Quirico d'Orcia, look for signs that indicate the direction to Chapel Vitaleta, which is a short ride from the town center.
Walking
If you enjoy walking and are feeling adventurous, you can walk to Chapel Vitaleta from Arezzo. Start at the central train station in Arezzo and head towards Via Roma. Follow this road until you reach the SP14 highway. Turn left onto SP14 and continue walking for about 30 kilometers. This will take you through beautiful Tuscan countryside. Keep an eye out for signs leading you to San Quirico d'Orcia. Once in San Quirico d'Orcia, the chapel is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as this will be a lengthy walk.
